Second Round Results

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -
Junior Mike Beausejour aced the 11th hole and was one of three Musketeers to finish with an even-par round of 72 in second round action of the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship at the Panther Lake Course at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Fla.  The Musketeers held steady in fourth place with a one-over par round of 289.

 

Beausejour's 72 included only eight pars.  He was one-under par on the eighth hole but triple-bogeyed the par-4 ninth.  Beausejour followed a par on the 10th with his hole in one.  He added three more birdies on a backside that included a double-bogey to finish with a 34. 

 

Sophomore Kieran Lovelock's 72 included five birdies and five bogeys while senior Andy Connell put together a steady 72 made up of three bogeys and three birds.  Classmate Brian Keating started the day in a tie for sixth and moved into 11th place with a one-over par 73. 

 

Xavier will compete in the final round of the A-10 Championship tomorrow.  Charlotte is leading the way, 20 shots clear of second-place Dayton.
