X-treme Fans Interview with WVXU | January 19 Spirit Spot

Hey X-treme Fans!

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Matt Robinson and I am the president of the X-treme Fans for the 2008-2009 school year. Now that that's out of the way, I hope you are all as excited as I am for the upcoming year of Xavier sports! Together we can continue to build on the success of the previous seasons. Men's and Women's soccer look to continue their exciting play in and out of conference and have big home games against Cincinnati this year. Women's volleyball received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament last year and will return many of their key players. And Men's and Women's basketball will continue to dominate our conference as each look to three-peat on A-10 championships and make a farther run in the NCAA Tournament.

As for us fans, be sure to look out for more exciting fall seasons with more theme nights for soccer and volleyball. We will also be reworking our points system to incorporate better rewards for our members who attend the most games and help the most with concessions and fundraising. We also have exciting new designs for the Fall T-shirt and annual X-shirt. As for basketball season, look for Pregame Madness to continue to grow and for women's games to be more loud and exciting.

I hope everyone has a terrific summer and takes some time to rest up for the amazing seasons we have headed our way. We'll see you again in August. Be there! Be Loud!
